Acharya Aashish is an Enlightened
Master, a spiritual teacher, who speaks in this discourse on the most taboo
topic – Is Premarital Sex a Sin - he talks what Bible says on this.
The Bible does not say that
premarital sex is a sin.
There is no clear mention in the
Bible that premarital sex is a sin against God. It is only speculated; it has
been wrongly misinterpreted.
The new age Christian usually talks
about premarital sex as sin, many other religions say so, may be not the
religion but the so-called religious people say so.
There is no specific prohibition in
the Bible against sex between an unmarried man and unmarried woman. However,
“sexual immorality” is denounced in about 25 passages in the New Testament. The
word translated as “sexual immorality” or “fornication” in English Versions of
the Bible is the Greek word porniea, which means “illicit sexual
intercourse”
Jesus Christ has said "It is what comes out of a
person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil
intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice,
wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil
things come from within, and they defile a person."
The Bible does not provide a specific list of acts that
constitute "sexual immorality," but the verses, also written by Paul,
does not clearly say about sex before marriage, it does not say that it is a
sin.
